Really, this is typical for me. With the exception of my first camera (Minolta X-700), my Nikon FM-2 and my Canon 20D, every other SLR I've owned (13 of them*) has been used or refurbished
So this little guy becomes Alpha camera. The 30D goes to reserve. And the 20D goes on inactive reserve, serving with my ex-wife.
Amusing side note: The strap on my camera has been around my neck since 1986.
* Minolta XG-1, Nikon F (twice), Nikon EM, Nikon N8008, Nikkormat FT3, Nikon F3, Canon EOS A2, Canon EOS 630, Canon EOS 10, Canon Elan IIE, Canon FTb, Canon 30D. Of all of them, I miss the F3 most.
